The LSC originated in 1956 with a few avid skiers whose prime interest was to promote the sport of snow skiing. We continue to offer a variety of winter and snow-ski activities, such as NASTAR-type downhill racing, ski weekends, and Western and European ski trips. But with an ever-expanding membership, our interests have broadened greatly.

Today, we offer a wide range of other, year-round activities, such as water skiing, boating, camping, sailing, scuba diving, whitewater rafting, TGIFs, dances, tailgate parties, and organized mixed leagues for volleyball, softball and bowling. We love the outdoors! We are a member of the Ohio Valley Ski Council, and we support Special Olympics.

Our members range in age from 21 to past 70. We have a healthy mix of singles and couples, and our membership includes a wide range of occupations and careers.

Membership dues are $25.00 for single membership and $35.00 for a married couple membership. Our fiscal year runs from April 1st to March 31.
